The "Tesla's Classroom" Project - Lectures for Teachers

On December 16, 2022, in the premises of the Croatian Community of Innovators in Zagreb were held 4 thematic lectures for teachers from the Primary School of Sibinj Victims as part of the project "Tesla's Classroom".

The first lecture included the topic of ecoremediation where you could see successfully implemented eco-remediation projects. The lecture covered the topics of sustainable development and the advantages of eco-remediation.

"Method for developing creativity in children" was the topic of the second lecture. The lecture introduced the basics of creative thinking, how to encourage children to make positive changes, accept responsibility, and control emotions. There was also presented a memory technique that helps children and adults in learning.

In the third lecture was presendted the development microcomputer named "See Project X", where the participants, under the guidance of the educator, performed various tasks with simple programming.

The fourth and last workshop was held under the name "How to work with children with special needs".

"Working with children with special needs requires a lot of effort and understanding and how to help them with different approaches and methods using art activities, education and rehabilitation. In working with children, teachers should choose priorities to help them, provide them with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, allow freedom, focus their work on developing skills, encourage creativity and creativity and other successful methods," emphasized Ivana Ježić, professor of historical art
