Nikola Tesla and his breakdown of revelation

Nikolina Varga

Since he was a student at the Polytechnic Institute in Graz, Tesla’s mind started to grow an intuitive seed. He observed the new Gramme machine that generated direct current electricity, and by reverse, it could operate as an electricity-driven motor. The solution came to him seven years later, in February 1882. Tesla was working in Budapest, and he was walking with a friend at sunset, reciting poetry by Goethe when it struck his mind. He stood there in somewhat of a shock, explaining how an AC motor would work. Then he took a stick and drew a diagram of the motor in the sand. Tesla explained his visualization power by envisioning the design in detail and then returning to the retained image days or weeks later and examining it as it had been running.
